AFROSAI-E to conduct quality assurance review of NAC – March 2013

The National Audit Chamber (NAC) of South Sudan is admitted as a new member of AFROSAI-E, the African Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions of english-speaking Africa.
The Auditor General, Ambassador Steven Wondu, has invited AFROSAI-E to conduct a high-level quality assurannce review of the NAC during the period 11th-15th March 2013. The purpose of the review will be to to access the NAC against the AFROSAI-E Institutional Capacity Building Framework (ICBF).
The ICBF is the framework against which Supreme Audit Institutions such as NAC seek to establish the level of framework compliance achieved. ICBF levels are graded from 1 to 5. Many SAI are currently at the initial framework stages i.e. levels 1 and 2.
