President Obama offers assistance to enhance NAC capacity

President Barack Obama in presenting his FY2013 budget speach in Washington promised assistance to South Sudan but will seek to obtain regular audits of the financial accounts of the Government of South Sudan to ensure transparency and accountability of funds.
He said the US would provide technical help “.. to enhance the capacity of the Audit Chamber to carry out its responsibilities …”.
